Concert – Les Poissons Voyageurs

The Poissons Voyageurs collective was born one spring day in 2008, from the wandering spirit of a double bassist who wanted to travel with music.
So it was that he brought together a white truck, some 27 musicians who would take their turn in it, and a repertoire that would be the envy of oral tradition collectors, for over 14 years of travel.
Inspired by Moldavian taverns, Ukrainian border posts and the volcanic landscapes of the Canary Islands, Les Poissons Voyageurs gather and compose a repertoire that resembles their lives: a fine handful of humor in a good dose of lovingly crafted music, with swing and Balkan accents.
