Apartment Les Planches – A3

Les Planches de Villard, an apartment sleeping 12, is situated in a complex of three new chalets on the Alpe d’Huez estate, at the foot of the slopes in the village of Villard-Reculas (1,500 metres above sea level, 1 hour from Grenoble railway station, 15 minutes’ drive up from Allemond).

The living area is very light and comprises a large dining area and a 50 m² lounge with a fireplace.
It opens southwards onto a private, ground-level terrace with a large table, benches and sun loungers. Views of the Taillefer and Belledonne mountain ranges. The kitchen is fully equipped for 12 people.

Guests can enjoy après-ski in various areas (games provided) or by the fireside (firewood supplied). A few steps separate the living room from the rest of the flat, and a spacious hallway leads to:

Bedroom 1 – 1 double bed (160) with en-suite shower room
Bedroom 2 – 2 twin beds (80x2 or 80x160 – to be specified and chosen by the tenant)

Bedroom 4 – 1 double bed (160) with en-suite shower room
Bedroom 5 or sleeping loft – 2 beds (90), 1 cot
A fourth separate bathroom with toilet and bath

3 parking spaces in the residence’s secure covered car park for cars (max. height 2m), with direct access to the flat.

The ski area in the family-friendly village of Villard-Reculas is self-contained (ESF, ski hire, altitude 1,500–2,100 m) and is also linked to the Alpe d’Huez ski area (up to 3,330 m) via a 6-seater chairlift.
Ski-in/ski-out access from the ski room: 100 m on foot.
A 10-minute walk or 5-minute drive takes you to the village centre: the ESF office, the mini-market, the Sport 2000 hire shop and the tourist office. Villard has three high-quality, family-friendly restaurants, but there’s not much going on in the evenings 😉
A 10-minute stroll to the old village: playground, historic chalets.

In summer: activities organised by the tourist office, numerous trail running and downhill mountain biking routes, and a cyclist’s paradise with the Oisans Col Series (climbs closed to cars), the 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez, Pas de la Confession, Col du Glandon, Croix de Fer, Galibier, and stages of the men’s and women’s Tour de France, etc.

Hotel-style services included: a personalised welcome, beds made, towels provided and a final clean at the end of your stay. An additional mid-stay clean is included for bookings of 7 days or more.
