The many hiking trails to suit all kinds of walkers will lead you around the Grandes Rousses mountains and the Ecrins National Park.

A mountainside trail through the forest with a magnificent view of Eau d’Olle valley and the Belledone mountain range.

An easy hike that leads you from lake to lake, from one side of the natural balcony cliff perched between Eau d’Olle valley and the Pic Blanc, to the other. This mountain plateau links Alpe d’Huez to the Fare mountain refuge at Alpette.

The vast meadows of Emparis plateau resemble a small-scale version of the steppe ecoregion in Central Asia. This is a classified site where, in the summer, the meadows are transformed into an ocean of flowers with a breathtaking view of the Meije glaciers.
